Waterloo, Iowa – March 16, 2016 – VGM Club members who participated in the fertilizer and chemical program will receive more than $1 million in credit memos.
The distribution of credits will take place during March and will be disbursed to 961 VGM Club members that, on average, will receive more than $1,000 in credit towards their participating fertilizer and chemical supplier. The record-breaking savings marks a seven percent increase over 2015.
“When superintendents buy from our fertilizer and chemical program partners, CPS, D&K, Howard, Turfgrass and Winfield, they can experience significant savings,” said Mike Woltz, VGM Club’s director of business development for agronomy. “This allows for them to extend their budgets further, giving them an opportunity to apply an extra couple applications to their course over the year.”
Woltz mentioned that VGM Club strives to enhance their programs. Recently, VGM Club increased the reach of its fertilizer and chemical program in the Chicagoland and Wisconsin territories with the addition of ProGro Solutions as a supplier.
“The addition of ProGro Solutions as a supplier to our members in the Chicagoland and Wisconsin territories provides even greater access to savings opportunities,” said Woltz. “Our overarching goal is to find ways to bolster our coverage and bring value to members. This goal will continue to be a beacon for us as we grow relationships with members and suppliers alike.”
