LAKE MARY, FL (April 5, 2016) – Four more organizations have joined the growing list of attendees for the 26th Annual ING Spring Conference May 22-26 at Zermatt Resort in the Heber Valley region of Utah.
Anyone in the golf industry or media is invited to attend the conference, conducted by the non-profit International Network of Golf, where media and the golf industry connect. Industry executives from companies large and small, and from every segment of the industry, will join golf media of all types at this annual gathering. Call 407-328-0500 or visit www.inggolf.com for details.
Several new products will be launched at the ING Spring Conference. Golf equipment companies will be on hand to display products for testing by dozens of media members representing a combined audience of millions of golfers. There will also be educational sessions geared toward the conference theme, “Bridging Golf’s Generation Gap.”
Bridgestone Golf, Golf Mesquite Nevada, PGA Worldwide Golf Exhibitions and World Golf Village will be taking part in the popular One-On-One Appointment Show (a series of private meetings between exhibitors and media) and Bridgestone will also participate in the Demo Lab (product testing on the range and green).
BRIDGESTONE GOLF first produced golf balls in 1935. Along with technical developments in tire technology came breakthroughs in golf ball technology that have led Bridgestone to be the number one golf ball producer in Japan, and the No. 1 golf ball fitter in the industry with over 300,000 fittings. Design and production of golf clubs followed in 1972 with the same passion for excellence propelling Bridgestone to a leadership position in the current marketplace. www.bridgestonegolf.com.
GOLF MESQUITE NEVADA is the golf-marketing arm of the partnership of seven championship golf courses and a choice of hotel resorts and casinos making it easy for golfers to plan their perfect golf getaway. You can experience the rugged beauty of the local area while hiking through a national park, or just stay inside and relax in a world-class resort. Mesquite hosts several golf events during the year, including the Mesquite Amateur in late May. www.golfmesquitenevada.com.
PGA WORLDWIDE GOLF EXHIBITIONS, in partnership with The PGA of America, organizes two important industry business gatherings in the U.S. each year. The PGA Merchandise Show, held each January in Orlando, hosts some 43,000 industry professionals and more than 1,000 golf-related companies and brands participating in product exhibitions, demonstrations, educational seminars and special events. The PGA Fashion & Demo Experience returns to the Venetian Resort in Las Vegas, Aug. 15-17, 2016, to feature an upscale presentation of resort, lifestyle and golf apparel, and accessories. www.pgashow.com.
WORLD GOLF VILLAGE in St. Augustine, FL, is home to the World Golf Hall of Fame, the Renaissance St. Augustine Resort and two championship golf courses, making it a one-of-a-kind golf vacation destination. The mission of the World Golf Hall of Fame is to preserve and honor the history of the game of golf and the legacies of those who have made it great. Some of golf’s greatest names were involved in the creation of the two golf courses: Slammer & Squire (Sam Snead, Gene Sarazen) and the King & Bear (Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus). www.worldgolfhalloffame.org.
Former LPGA Tour and current LPGA Legends Tour player Kris Tschetter will serve as the conference Emcee.
