(SHELTON, Wash.) – Salish Cliffs Golf Club (www.salishcliffs.com) – amenity of Little Creek Casino Resort in Western Washington – heads into the spring season riding the momentum of national recognition, a new online identity and expanded staffing.
GolfAdvisor.com – Golf Channel’s course ratings and review site – recently named Salish Cliffs as the “Best Course in Washington” according to user ratings. The same outlet placed Salish Cliffs in the top-25 nationally for off-course amenities. Additionally, both Golf Digest and Golfweek recognized the South Sound gem as one of the ten best courses to play in state.
Golfers looking to reserve a tee time or book a stay-and-play are now greeted by an updated website. The new salishcliffs.com comes with improved booking functionality, exclusive deals and an expanded gallery of high resolution course imagery. The website is also fully mobile compatible making it the perfect complement to the Salish Cliffs app-available free to download on iOS and Android devices.
Two new Assistant Golf Professionals have joined the Salish Cliffs team. Rick Denholm, a PGA member since 1991, is a course record holder at Washington’s Oaksridge Golf Club and two-time Top-5 finisher at the PNW Assistant Championship. Bradley Elzie brings ample experience from working at Wine Valley Golf Club in Walla Walla and competes on the Pacific Northwest PGA circuit. Both will help lead player development programs, tournaments and other course operations.
“Last year, with the U.S. Open being hosted nearby and great weather through the fall, it really was a banner season for golf in Washington,” said Salish Cliffs Head Golf Professional David Kass, PGA. “It sets us up for a great 2016 and the systems we’ve put in place this offseason should make for a great experience.”
Located on the southern tip of the Puget Sound, adjacent to the award-winning Little Creek Casino Resort, the property is easily accessible for guests traveling from Seattle, Olympia, Tacoma and Portland. Inside the resort, guests are treated to a variety of fine and casual dining options as well as recreation facilities and the rejuvenating Seven Inlets Spa. Vegas-style gaming keeps the spacious casino floor abuzz while a full schedule of nationally-renowned music acts highlight the summer schedule at the Skookum Creek Event Center.
