Bryson DeChambeau Plays JumboMax® Grips On His Way To Earning The Silver Cup As Low Amateur At The 2016 Masters Tournament

(OCALA, FL) – JumboMax Grips helped Bryson DeChambeau, one of the top ranked amateur golfers in the world, capture both the 2015 NCAA Men’s Division I Individual Championship and the 2015 U.S. Amateur Championship, and now, they’ve helped him earn the Silver Cup and the prestigious title of Low Amateur at the 2016 Masters Tournament.

“I honestly don’t have any words right now to describe how grateful I am to have that honor. It’s kind of choking me up because I never thought I would be here,” said DeChambeau, who turned pro at the RBC Heritage at Harbour Town. “To do it on Bobby Jones’ golf course is something else. It’s an honor that will stay with me forever and I’ll never forget this day.”

DeChambeau earned an invitation to the 2016 Masters by winning the U.S. Amateur at Olympia Fields last summer. He was the fifth player in history to win NCAA and U.S. Amateur titles in the same year – the others were Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Ryan Moore.

DeChambeau has been playing JumboMax Grips for 5 years now and he’s as well known for his accomplishments on the golf course as he is for his unorthodox set of irons that are all the same length.

“Bryson never ceases to amaze me,” said John Mazzanoble, V.P. of Sales for JumboMax Grips. “Watching him dominate as an amateur and capture title after title has been incredible, but to see what he did at the Masters this past weekend is just a whole other level of amazing. To see him play at the level he was able to play at… against the top professional golfers in the world shows just how talented he is and what the future holds for him. All of us at JumboMax would like to say congratulations on an incredible performance at the Masters and say that we’re very excited to see what the future holds. We’re just proud to be a part of the history this young man is making.”

About JumboMax Golf Grips

JumboMax Grips garnered the attention of the golf world by offering golfers an alternative to the standard-size or “skinny” grips typically found on clubs. The super-oversized JumboMax Grip, with its patented design and larger diameter, provides a more secure Finger-Palm™ Grip which makes for a tension-free connection to the club. This Finger-Palm Grip Technology promotes relaxed grip pressure, more consistent squaring of the clubface, a more fluid and powerful swing, and the most shock-absorption for continuous comfortable play.

In independent player testing administered by GolfTest USA, JumboMax® Golf Grips outperformed standard golf grips in head-to-head testing in nearly every category and were awarded the company’s Seal of Excellence and its Highest Achievement Award.

Results with the JumboMax Grips versus the standard grips showed improvement in nearly all categories tested including Carry Distance, Total Distance, Clubhead Speed, Smash Factor and Wedge Dispersion; particularly impressive was the 10+ yard Increase (6.2%) in Carry Distance that testers experienced with the Driver and the 22.8% better dispersion average they experienced in the Wedge test.

Dominant Golf, LLC is the parent company and manufacturer of JumboMax Golf Grips. The company was created with the goal of developing a better way for people to learn, play and love the game of golf. The JumboMax Grip was designed with computer and laboratory technologies and has been studied extensively on golf ranges and courses with golfers of varying skill levels including low, intermediate and high handicap players.
