(Flagler Beach, FL) – Cure Putters Staff Professional Austen Truslow shot 61 and set a new course record for The Moonlight Golf Tour on the Watson/Palmer Course at Reunion Resort in Reunion, FL on April 13th.
“Austen shot 29 on the front and 32 on the back,” said Jim Barfield, VP of Tour Operations for Cure Putters. “He recorded 11 birdies and only 23 putts for the round using his Cure RX3 Putter.”
Barfield recognized the potential Truslow had when he first met him eight years ago as a junior amateur player. “I’ve watched Austen grow and dominate at every level he’s played at and now he’s living his dream playing golf as a professional. I got a chance to work with him about 2 months ago and fitted him for an RX3 putter. The results were amazing. He gained 2.6 strokes per round with the RX3 putter in his hands. This new course record of 61 at Reunion Resort tells me he’s well on his way and I can’t wait to see how the rest of the season unfolds.”
Austen Truslow carries a Cure Putters Staff Bag and wears the Cure Putters logo on his hat in Florida Professional Golf Tour events and is currently playing in Web.com tournament qualifiers as well.
