Boucher first became involved with the Biion Footwear team in the summer of 2014, when he met CEO, Rick Buchanan at a fundraiser event at his home course. He was immediately and intrigued and impressed by the lightweight, functional and fashion forward line of shoes. Over the past two years, Boucher developed a strong partnership with the Biion Footwear team.
“Mac is a great addition to the Biion Footwear team. He is a talented golf professional with a strong work ethic and passion for the great game of golf,” stated Biion Footwear CEO & President Rick Buchanan.
Boucher is a 26-year old from Uxbridge, Ontario, Canada who was exposed to golf in his late teens as other competitive sports played a larger role in his life. To further develop his golf game, Boucher began working with world-renowned PGA Tour Instructor Sean Foley. This instruction led Boucher to a highly successful collegiate career at Adrian College in Adrian, Michigan where he won six individual titles.
After his collegiate career, Boucher began his professional golfing career. He has been on the PGA TOUR Canada, Australasian Tour and Mini Tours in both Canada and the United States for three years. Boucher boasts five professional wins.
“Mac’s insight from the tour will help inspire our engineering team with new designs and technologies,” added Buchanan.
