SACRAMENTO, Calif. (April 25, 2016) – PGA Junior Golf Camps is launching its new Competitive Edge Overnight Camps, which is designed for advanced and competitive youth golfers. The camps are focused on accelerated game improvement for co-eds ages 12-18, who are seeking a competitive edge in preparing for tournament play, as well as collegiate golf. Camps include the advanced study of all aspects of the game, utilize the industry’s most advanced instruction technologies, and feature daily on-course PGA Professional instruction to hone course management skills.
The four host camp locations are: Whistling Straits in Kohler, Wisconsin; PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida; Silverado Resort & Country Club in Napa, California; and Pauma Valley Country Club in San Diego County, California.
The Competitive Edge Camps incorporate fitness and conditioning sessions, nutrition seminars and evening sessions, presented by notable experts within the junior golf space. Campers will be housed in four-star accommodations located on property. Depending on the selected camp destination, lodging options range from cottages and villas to deluxe hotel guest rooms and suites. Commuter options are also available for youth golfers with alternate accommodations.
“Attending one of our Competitive Edge Overnight Camps is indispensable for the serious youth golfer looking to improve his or her game during the summer months,” said Marc Haddad, founder and CEO of PGA Junior Golf Camps. “Each location offers world-class instruction facilities, features top PGA of America teaching professionals at the helm and offers incredible playing opportunities, where our campers can test their skills and hone their competitive abilities.”
