Alberta, Canada. Longball Athletics is pleased to announce that Tyler Aldridge, PGA TOUR Professional will be joining Team Longball for the both 2016 and 2017 PGA Tour season.
Tyler Aldridge turned professional in 2004 and since then been playing a number of tours including the Web.com. In 2015 Tyler picked up a win at the PGA TOUR’s Web.com Greater Dallas Open. This win along with placing 29th on the Web.com money list earned him a PGA TOUR card along with 49 other tour graduates. While playing on the PGA TOUR in 2016 Tyler has had 3 top 25 finishes with the latest at the RBC Heritage with a final T-14 placing.
Jeff Wood, one of the Longball’s, said Aldridge’s hard work and determination is a great fit for Longball, and is excited to see the energy and exposure Aldridge can bring Longball on the PGA TOUR.
“This is a very exciting time for Longball, having Tyler apart of the brand to not only bring additional exposure to the brand but also support our United States growth couldn’t be better timing,” Wood said.
About Tyler Aldridge
Tyler Aldridge is an American professional golfer. Aldridge was born in Caldwell, Idaho and played college golf at Boise State University. Aldridge turned professional in 2004 and played on mini-tours before starting on the Nationwide Tour (now Web.com Tour) in 2008. He earned his 2009 PGA TOUR card at Qualifying School in 2008 and split the 2009 season between the PGA TOUR (three cuts made in 17 starts) and the Nationwide Tour (five cuts in 11 events). He played on the PGA TOUR Canada from 2012 to 2014 with a best finish of tied for second at the 2013 Times Colonist Island Savings Open.
