ORLANDO, Fla. (April 28, 2016) – PGA Master Professional Claude Brousseau, 2015 and 2008 Aloha Section PGA Teacher of the Year, is scheduled to appear as a guest instructor on Golf Channel’s Morning Drive May 3 and 4.
The popular daily morning show airs from 7-9 a.m. Eastern.
Brousseau, director of instruction and coaching & player development for the Ko Olina Golf Academy in Honolulu, Hawaii, is one of the inaugural coaches in Golf Channel Academy (GCA), a dedicated network of teaching facilities. Select Golf Channel Academy coaches are being invited to appear on the network’s news and instruction shows, including The Golf Fix and School of Golf; Brousseau is making his first appearance on Morning Drive.
“I’m so excited for the opportunity to appear on Morning Drive and share my expertise with the viewers, so that they will realize their full golfing potential,” said Brousseau, a native of Québec, Canada, and also a PGA Master in France. “It’s been a great experience to be a part of the Golf Channel Academy network of coaches. The quality and diversity of the team is something I’m very proud to be associated with.”
The only PGA Master Professional on the island of Oahu, Brousseau was named the Top Instructor in the state of Hawaii by Golfing Magazine, and is one of only five coaches in Hawaii to be selected to Golf Digest’s most recent rankings of the “Best Teachers in Your State.” The founder of the first and only short-game golf school in France – Golf Court Academy – B rousseau has coached players on the European Tour, European Senior Tour, Ladies European Tour, European Challenge Tour and Alps Tour.
An accomplished player, Brousseau competed on the mini-tours in South Florida for several years and even played Monday qualifying rounds for the former Doral Open and Honda Classic on the PGA Tour.
