Surrey, British Columbia – May 4th, 2016 – Technology company, DSG GLOBAL INC. (OTCQB: DSGT), announced today that they’ve entered a closed beta phase for their R3 advertising revenue program.
The program, which is an automated, bid-based advertising sales and delivery solution, is expected to open a new revenue stream for courses employing the DSG TOUCH solution.
“R3 stands for ‘Right Person. Right Ad. Right time’,” said Adrian Fulle, Chief Marketing Technologist. “From the moment they sit in the cart, we know who the golfer is, their purchasing habits, their likes, everything. Without disturbing their privacy, we will have all the information we need to serve an ad on the DSG TOUCH screen that they will appreciate.
The R3 program brings programmatic advertising and real-time bidding (RTB) to the golf industry. Programmatic advertising is a form of automated advertising where advertisers bid at an exchange for the opportunity to serve their ads in front of the consumer. The highest bid wins.
“The insane UNBELIEVABLE thing about R3 is that the entire process happens in 100 milliseconds,” explained Fulle. “Just like online and on streaming TV. It is imperceptible to the human eye. You sit in the cart and bam, an ad for that thing you have been thinking about buying pops up magically. It’s like the DSG TOUCH is an extension of your life.”
Research shows that consumers are okay with seeing ads if the ads are for products they’ve expressed an interest in. This is called “ad relevancy” and it’s a key factor to programmatic.
“Ad relevancy is our number one goal,” continued Fulle. “No longer are you going to see just any ad on the screens. Because of our technology, now you will see ads chosen for you specifically. And that means advertisers will pay higher fees, courses make more revenue and golfers aren’t blasted with a bunch of crap they have no interest in.”
Over a year in development, the R3 program is near completion.
