BELLINGHAM, Wash. – SteelFiber graphite iron shafts, designed and manufactured by Aerotech Golf, scored two more tour wins and a Top 10 money position this weekend. At the Yokohama Tire LPGA Classic, SteelFiber J108 graphite iron shafts delivered victory and SteelFiber i80 graphite iron shafts claimed a T6 finish, while SteelFiber i95 graphite iron shafts grabbed the win on The Legends Tour.
Playing SteelFiber J108s graphite shafts in her irons, the 20-year-old Bangkok-born pro recorded her first career victory, winning the Yokohama Tire LPGA Classic. The young champion jumped 11 spots to No. 21 on the Rolex Rankings, and she became the first player from Thailand to win on the LPGA Tour. The SteelFiber J-series is a private label iron shaft specifically developed for Aerotech Golf distributor and clubfitter Big Fish Golf of Singapore.
Meanwhile, a Canadian pro played SteelFiber i95 graphite shafts in her irons to win the Self-Regional Women’s Health Classic on the Legends Tour. With the victory, the champion now has four LPGA wins and four wins on The Legends Tour.
