Pepsi Little People’s Golf Championships is pleased to announce a partnership with Michael Riggs, Founder of the nationally renowned ONE Way Golf mental fitness program.
Riggs holds a Master’s degree in Applied Sport and Performance Psychology from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville. He has spent the past two decades guiding golfers, from Junior to Tour players, to realize their full playing potential.
Mike has found that inside each player is the capacity to be extraordinary…all that may be necessary is a firm nudge, some trusty guidance and a clear-cut plan.
Because of his partnership with Little People’s, Michael is offering each 2016 Little People’s participant, at no cost, a private phone call up to 30 minutes, for players or parents to discuss strategies to improve overall mental fitness and improve play, a $100 value.
Each Little People’s participant will receive at registration for this year’s tournament, a certificate with more information, and Michael’s phone number.
“We are delighted to be able to offer this unique experience to all of our 2016 Little People’s players,” said Nan Ryan, Little People’s Executive Director. “Michael has a long-time relationship with Little People’s, going back to 2002 when he came to the tournament, spoke at the Picnic and offered one-on-one with parents.”
“Thinking correctly, to improve success and heighten enjoyment of the game, starts at an early age,” said Riggs. “The best players sharpen their mental fitness as certain as they work on their swing mechanics.”
“We hope that our players this year will take advantage of this very generous offer,” added Ryan.
