(BOYNTON BEACH, FL) – Cypress Creek Country Club – under Billy Casper Golf (BCG) management since August 2014 – has named Jeffrey Stange the new General Manager for the semi-private club 20 minutes south of West Palm Beach, FL.
Bringing nearly two decades of hospitality expertise, Stange will further advance Cypress Creek’s mission to deliver the region’s most value-packed golf and social experiences. He oversees all club operations, including its acclaimed golf course, popular golf practice facility, fully furnished banquet space and trendy Tru Shots Bar and Grill.
Stange will also oversee a comprehensive agronomic program currently focused on re-sodding greens and other areas of the course to provide pristine playing conditions.
“Jeffrey’s talent, drive and know-how will help take the Cypress Creek experience to the next level,” says Tony Cianci, Senior Vice President of Operations of BCG. “By putting the needs of members and guests first, every course he has been associated with has realized increases in rounds and revenue.”
Most recently at Indianwood Golf Club in Indiantown, FL, Stange pioneered fresh membership and public programs which led to meaningful rises in member acquisition, rounds and revenue. He joins a BCG family of general managers widely regarded as the most progressive operators and marketers in the hospitality and golf industries.
About Cypress Creek Golf Course
Opened in 1964, Cypress Creek Country Club’s critically acclaimed course was designed by renowned architect, the late Robert von Hagge. Among his famous worldwide credits: El Conquistador in Puerto Rico, host of several Champions TOUR events; Les Bordes near Paris, ranked the No. 1 course in Europe; Royal Mougins, site of the French Open; White Witch in Montego Bay, Jamaica, ranked the No. 1 Caribbean course; Trump National Doral Miami, TPC Presancia in Sarasota, Woodlands Golf Club near Houston; and many others.
Over its 50 years, the course has been updated to modern-day standards with state-of-the-art maintenance yet still maintains almost all the classic trappings of von Hagge’s original routing and design.
Cypress Creek also boasts a beautifully manicured practice area with a driving range, sand trap, chipping and putting green. Under guidance of PGA and LPGA instructors, the Don Law Golf Academy is popular for beginner golfers to learn fundamentals and better players to sharpen their games.
The 8,000 square-foot clubhouse at Cypress Creek features a fully-stocked pro shop and the Tru Shots Bar & Grille, where members, guests and groups enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner indoors and outdoors.
