Leading golf resort destination one of five in the Northeast to be honored
Hamburg, NJ – Crystal Springs Resort, one of the leading golf destinations in the country and nestled among the Hamburg Mountains in Northwestern New Jersey, has been recognized by Golf Digest as one of the “Best Resorts in the Americas.”
The listing of the top resorts in the country can be found in the current May issue where the editors recognize more than 75 top golf resort destinations across the United States, Canada, Caribbean/Bermuda, and Mexico/Central America.
“Whether it’s a buddies’ trip or a getaway with our significant other, what we seek from a golf resort is an experience greater than our usual weekend round,” the magazine editors stated.
“Our choice resorts also offer multiple courses, and we’re partial to those layouts that offer fun, frolics and dazzling scenery, although we can’t resist the lure of a marquee ball-buster.”
Crystal Springs Resort was one of five selected among the “Best Golf Resorts in the Northeast/New England” joining the Stockton Seaview Hotel & GC, which is also in New Jersey, The Sagamore Resort and Turning Stone Resort in New York, and the Omni Mount Washington Resort in New Hampshire.
“This a tremendous honor for Crystal Springs to be recognized by Golf Digest as one of the top resorts in the country,” Art Walton, vice president of Crystal Springs Resort, said. “This is a true testament to not only the quality and quantity of our golf, but also our superior lodging, dining, and collection of first class amenities that our guests experience every day.”
As one of the largest golf resorts in the world with six courses and 90-holes of golf, Crystal Springs offers an unprecedented variety of golf vacation opportunities for golf aficionados and families seeking the best in golf, lodging, dining and activities.
Leading the way at Crystal Springs is the award-winning Ballyowen Golf Club, New Jersey’s No. 1 rated golf course, and the Wild Turkey course combined with luxurious accommodations in the Grand Cascades Lodge, one of the premier luxury hotels in the Northeast. In addition, the resort has long been known as a premier family golf destination with its fun nine-hole Minerals and Cascades courses, FootGolf, big cups, four-person family golf carts, and a scenic natural grass putting course.
Add in top dining experiences like the 4-star Restaurant Latour and its award-winning (Wine Spectator Grand Award) 135,000-bottle Wine Cellar, two full-service award-winning spas, skeet shooting and scotch tastings, and you have a luxury golf retreat unmatched in the region.
