Draper, Utah – The designers at OGIO Golf have outdone themselves with the 2016 Special Ops military collection of golf and travel bags, now available in premium golf and sporting goods shops.
Although they have designed hundreds of adrenaline-driven, fashion forward golf and travel bags throughout the years, the Special Ops line was different. They knew their designs would determine how big a donation NS2 Serves would get as a result of their creativity. And they knew the bigger the donation, the more students the organization could add to their 12-week training course to give veterans the skills needed for a career after their service. Their goal was simple, surpass the $83,000 donation made in 2015.
“NS2 Serves is an incredible organization for a couple of reasons,” said Global Vice President Tom Gocke. “First, their organization has no overhead, everyone involved is a volunteer, so we know the money we donate is not eaten up by administrative costs. Second, after the 12-week course is successfully completed, NS2 Serves works with each graduate to find them placement in full-time positions with a 100% success rate. That’s hard to beat.”
The 2016 Special Ops military collection features a black & grey, vintage stars and stripes theme, resembling the black & grey patch worn by the military’s Special Ops teams. It is an understated, yet patriotic look.
The line includes a cart and stand golf bag, golf club travel cover, a luggage carry-on and a Doppler bag smartly designed for toiletries. And true to OGIO form, each product is packed with special features designed for comfort and performance.
“We are so thankful for organizations like OGIO, who have joined our mission to help veterans successfully transition from military to civilian life,” said Steve Kupcha, executive director of NS2 Serves. “Every dollar they donate and every hour they spend promoting the organization means that we are that much closer to our goal of providing careers for 400 veterans by 2021.”
The Special Ops military collection is available at premium golf and sporting goods stores across the country now through September 30, 2016 or until supply run out. For more information about each product and its features, visit: www.ogio.com/golf/special-ops.
