The July Cover Story will be an exclusive feature story on changes that are being considered to the historic Bobby Jones Golf Course that was recently sold to the State of Georgia by the City of Atlanta.
Plans are under discussion to change the course to a 9 holes reversible course designed by renowned architect Bob Cupp, becoming the home of the Georgia State golf team, and new home of the Georgia Golf House. The Georgia Golf House will be the headquarters of the Georgia State Golf Association, the Georgia Section of the PGA and feature the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame.
It’s also tournament season and golf in Georgia is in full swing. Here’s the editorial line up for the July 2016 issue of FORE Georgia:
• Georgia Men’s Open
• Georgia Women’s Open
• Georgia State Amateur
• A look at the second PGA Barbasol Championship in Opelika/Auburn, AL
All of these tournaments will be previewed in the July issue as well as the PNC and Atlanta Open wrap-ups and an early look at the FedEx Cup Playoffs chase.

As a reminder, the closing deadline for the July issue of FORE Georgia is Friday, June 29th.
