WIXOM, Mich. – SuperStroke grips dominated the leaderboard last week at the Quicken Loans National by finishing in 6 of the top 10 positions. Two SuperStroke users punched their tickets to The Open Championship by finishing in 2nd and a tie for 3rd. After switching to an Ultra Slim 1.0 putter grip earlier the week, while playing in his first event as a professional, the 3rd place finisher ended the tournament ranked 6th in strokes gained putting and 4th in putts per green in regulation. With his top 10 finish he also earned an exemption into the Barracuda Championship this week. The PGA tour will also host the WGC Bridgestone Invitational in Akron, OH this week. Look for SuperStroke users Jordan Spieth and Jason Dufner to compete for the championship.
Last week’s Web.com Tour winner also utilized an Ultra Slim1.0 putter grip while finding success. After finishing regulation play tied with two others for the lead, the eventual winner and SuperStroke user rolled in an 18 foot birdie putt on the second playoff hole to capture the Air Capital Classic. With the victory the Web.com rookie has essentially assured himself a PGA Tour card for the 2017 season.
SuperStroke users on the LPGA Tour continued their stellar play last week with 3 of the top 8 finishers in the field using SuperStroke. This week the LPGA heads to Portland, OR for the Cambia Portland Classic where the defending champion will utilize her SuperStroke Pistol GT 1.0 grip while trying to capture the championship for a second straight year.
Sergio Garcia continued his great play at the BMW International open on the European Tour last week. Garcia utilized a Pistol GT 1.0 putter grip and S-Tech club grips to finish in 5th place for the week. Next up Garcia will look to compete alongside fellow SuperStroke user Victor Dubuisson in this week’s 100th playing of the European Tour’s Open De France Le Golf National in Paris.
“What a great week for us. We are honored to have the support of so many great players worldwide. Having success with our putter grips is something we are very proud of. Now we are starting to see our new S-Tech club grips repeatedly showing up on leaderboards as well. That creates even more excitement for us.” Says Dean Dingman, President of SuperStrokeUSA. “To be able capture top 5 finishes on both the PGA Tour and European Tour shows that the best players in the world are switching and trusting S-Tech.”
SuperStroke’s new S-Tech club grips have a soft, tacky feel from premium rubber compound that deliver excellent feedback and control. The Cross-Traction surface texture provides an incredible non-slip surface in all weather conditions, which enhances control and performance. SuperStroke Staff Players Jordan Spieth, Sergio Garcia, Jason Dufner, and Victor Dubuisson trust S-Tech club grips in every competition.
SuperStroke’s TX1 Premium Club Grips feature a Half Cord Design. TX1 Premium club grips offer a soft, tacky cord for increased club control on the upper hand and soft, non-cord rubber for enhanced feel and feedback on the lower hand. Every SuperStroke grip features Cross-Traction pattern, improving grip over the entire surface.
SuperStroke has incorporated CounterCore technology in all new putter grips for 2016. CounterCore Technology lets golfers fine tune the feel and stability of the putter by adjusting the weight of the grip. Adding a 50g back-weight engages larger muscles in the arms, shoulders and back, which results in more of a pendulum motion. Plus, SuperStroke’s patented NO TAPER design promotes even grip pressure, which leads to better putting. It can also be played without the additional weight if you prefer.
SuperStroke (superstrokeusa.com) grips are long lasting and extremely shock absorbent. They are designed with a high-tech polyurethane material featuring cross traction technology that improves feel and tackiness. SuperStroke’s patented parallel technology further increases consistency and lowers scores for every level of golfer, even professionals.
