WIXOM, Mich. – SuperStroke grips returned to the winner’s circle at the LPGA’s Cambia Portland Classic last week in Portland, OR. The tournament champion utilized a SuperStroke Pistol GT 1.0 putter grip en-route to her 4-shot victory. After switching to SuperStroke earlier this year and winning the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, this marks her second victory of the year and third of her career. This week, the LPGA Tour heads to CordeValle Golf Resort in San Martin, California for the third major of the year, the U.S. Women’s Open.
While the 2nd ranked female golfer in the world was winning on the LPGA Tour, the 2nd ranked male golfer in the world, Jordan Spieth, had a great week at the WGC Bridgestone Invitational in Akron, Ohio. Spieth finished in 3rd place while leading the field in strokes gained putting and putts per green in regulation. The PGA TOUR will head to Royal Troon next week in Scotland for The Open Championship where SuperStroke users Jordan Spieth, Jason Dufner, Sergio Garcia, and Victor Dubuisson will tee it up in search of the Claret Jug.
“It was a great weekend for golf on each tour this week,” says Dean Dingman, President of SuperStroke USA. “To see some of the best male and female players in the world winning and putting extremely well with SuperStroke is something we are very proud of.”
SuperStroke’s new S-Tech club grips have a soft, tacky feel from premium rubber compound that deliver excellent feedback and control. The Cross-Traction surface texture provides an incredible non-slip surface in all weather conditions, which enhances control and performance. SuperStroke Staff Players Jordan Spieth, Sergio Garcia, Jason Dufner, and Victor Dubuisson trust S-Tech club grips in every competition.
SuperStroke’s TX1 Premium Club Grips feature a Half Cord Design. TX1 Premium club grips offer a soft, tacky cord for increased club control on the upper hand and soft, non-cord rubber for enhanced feel and feedback on the lower hand. Every SuperStroke grip features Cross-Traction pattern, improving grip over the entire surface.
SuperStroke has incorporated CounterCore technology in all new putter grips for 2016. CounterCore Technology lets golfers fine tune the feel and stability of the putter by adjusting the weight of the grip. Adding a 50g back-weight engages larger muscles in the arms, shoulders and back, which results in more of a pendulum motion. Plus, SuperStroke’s patented NO TAPER design promotes even grip pressure, which leads to better putting. It can also be played without the additional weight if you prefer.
SuperStroke (superstrokeusa.com) grips are long lasting and extremely shock absorbent. They are designed with a high-tech polyurethane material featuring cross traction technology that improves feel and tackiness. SuperStroke’s patented parallel technology further increases consistency and lowers scores for every level of golfer, even professionals.
