SCOTTSDALE, AZ – July 6, 2016 – Global Golf Management Group, a leading provider of competitive amateur golf events across the United States, today announced that the Sir Elford Cup, the National Championship for the United States Golf League will be held November 1-5, 2016 at the famed Paiute Golf Resort in Las Vegas, NV.
Global Golf Management Group is working create the largest network of independently run local golf leagues nationwide. What separates the U.S. Golf League from the rest of the golf leagues across the country is that it gives teams of eight the opportunity to compete locally with the hopes of making it to our National Championship at Paiute in Las Vegas and a chance to play for the legendary Sir Elford Cup.
For teams interested in competing in the Sir Elford Cup that did not qualify via their regional leagues, submissions are now being taken for at-large teams to participate. To create an eight-man team to represent your golf course, you will need two players in each of the following flights:
Pro Flight – under 4.9 (Golf Professionals can compete in this division)
A Flight – 5 to 9.9
B Flight – 10 to 14.9
C Flight – 15 and above
