Premium golf brand Dunning has struck the perfect balance between luxury and performance with the launch of its 2017 spring/summer collection.

With the emphasis on fit, playability and performance, it promises to be a popular choice, with quality, style and versatility in abundance throughout the range.

Although many of the designs are based on classic British tailoring, Canadian founder Ralph Dunning has incorporated cutting-edge technology to create a distinctive style with modern fabrics.

While golf and fashion have evolved since the Dunning brand was established in 2001, the new collection meets the highest standards in what golfers expect from their clothing in 2017 and beyond.

Dunning has more than 30 years of experience in fabric engineering in the performance sportswear market and has established a reputation as an expert in the field.

His own sporting background as a former competitor in the Ironman World Championships, also gives him greater insight into what helps an athlete perform to the best of their ability.

He said: “The Dunning player has precise standards. They practise, play regularly and the game is a significant part of their lifestyle.

“We wanted to produce a collection which encompasses functionality and comfort but retains all of the Dunning style and pushes boundaries at the same time, by using modern techniques and producing the highest quality possible.”

Dunning’s complete playing system uses the world’s most advanced and high-quality materials.

It begins with the “next to skin” fit of golf-specific, merino undergarments that provide insulation and regulate body temperature.

The rest of the range features increased airflow, moisture management, odour control, breathability and UV protection, to allow serious players to dress using a complete system, allowing comfort and playability in all conditions.

With leading Tour professionals Nicolas Colsaerts, Brendan Steele, David Hearn and Charles Howell III in the Dunning stable, the brand is worn regularly at many of the top golf events in the world.

And, after Dunning recently joined forces with Trendy Sports Agency, there will be opportunities for retailers to check out the range with a series of pop-up showrooms held across the UK and Ireland. The first will be at Urban Golf in Soho, London; for two weeks from July 4.
