PGA member clubs to benefit from Discover Network’s global buying power
VACAVILLE, Calif. – The Northern California PGA has signed a year-long agreement with Discover Network, the world’s 3rd largest global network, to become an official payments partner of the league.
As part of the sponsorship, Discover Network will have a visible role in Northern California PGA’s Pro-Series as the new presenting partner. The event series will begin Monday, November 2nd in Sonoma, California.
“We’re excited to strike a relationship with the Northern California PGA,” said Pete Illian, Vice President at Discover Network. “This relationship will benefit both parties as it will heighten awareness of Discover Network’s global buying power when it comes to credit and debit card acceptance, as well as drive increased Discover Card, and other international cards running on our network, usage at PGA member clubs.”
Global cards running on the domestic Discover Network include UnionPay in China, BCcard from South Korea, JCB in Japan, and RuPay from India
Additional sponsorship elements include Discover Network brand presence within all of the PGA’s communication platforms, inclusive of the official website, newsletters, e-blasts, and social media campaigns.
