CHICAGO, JULY 13, 2016 – Wilson Golf today announces its participation as Official Equipment Sponsor of the nation’s premier celebrity golf tournament, the 27th annual American Century Championship. The star- studded event takes place at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in Lake Tahoe from July 19-24.
As part of its sponsorship, Wilson Golf will offer participants Wilson D200 drivers, fairway woods, and irons, which are designed for the Distance player needing both power and accuracy. Additionally, Wilson Staff will be the Official Golf Ball of the tournament.

The nation’s longest running celebrity?golf tournament, the American Century Championship will feature a host of past and active players from football, basketball and hockey as well as prominent artists from lm, television, music and comedy. Televised coverage of the tournament will be aired live on NBC Sports and NBCSN. First round Friday coverage airs live on NBCSN, 3-5p.m. PST, 6-8p.m. ET. Second round Saturday and final round Sunday coverage is live on NBC, noon-3p.m. PT, 3-6 p.m. ET.
As part of its sponsorship, Wilson will also receive assets on the broadcast as well as on-site signage rights. A full demonstration area will be set aside near the driving range to showcase?the latest technology from Wilson Golf. In addition, Wilson Golf will have a significant presence on-site in the exhibition area at the entrance to the club.
