Orlando, Fla. (July 19, 2016) – Cindy Miller, one of the most celebrated woman teachers in golf, has been named an instructor for Golf Channel Academy, launching two locations in the Buffalo, N.Y. area.

Founder and CEO of Cindy Miller, Inc., Miller is among the game’s most influential and recognizable teachers who have established a dedicated network of instruction facilities with the active support of Golf Channel, the game’s leading global multimedia and golf entertainment source.

“I’m very excited to be among these dynamic coaches associated with the Golf Channel Academy,” said Miller, who is teaming up with her husband, PGA Tour Past Champion/Life Member, Allen Miller at the Wehrle Golf Dome and the Airport Driving Range, both in Williamsville, N.Y. “This is a chance for golf coaches to work together, learning from one another and adopting best practices in both coaching, to better serve the golfing public,” she added. “Allen and I teach the same concepts that enabled him to become ranked the second purest ball striker on the PGA Tour by Dave Pelz. Our goal is to help our clients learn to play, improve, and enjoy the game of golf.”

Launched in April 2015, Golf Channel Academy is the first network of its kind devoted to efficiently growing the business of golf instruction. With 68 locations, Golf Channel Academy will be inviting additional coaches to become part of the network as it continues to grow.

An accomplished coach, player, speaker and corporate team-building expert, Cindy Miller has been teaching professionally for more than 30 years and has garnered numerous coaching accolades, including being named the 2010 LPGA National Teacher of the Year. She currently resides on Golf Digest magazine’s list of Top Fifty Women Teachers in America, “Best Teachers” in the state of New York as well as a member of the U.S. Kids Golf “Top 50 Kids Teachers” Class of 2014.

A Class A LPGA Professional, Cindy and her husband Allen, a former PGA Tour winner, are the only married couple in the world who have played on all four major tours -the PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, PGA Tour Champions and Legends Tour.

An LPGA Tour member from 1979 through 1981, Cindy competed in five U.S. Women’s Open Championships and five LPGA Championships, Miller is still a member of the Legends Tour, the official senior division of the LPGA Tour, where she ranks in the top 40 on the career money list.

She is perhaps best known for her appearances on Golf Channel’s popular reality series, The Big Break. Miller was a contestant in the third installment of the series, The Big Break III: Ladies Only, and later on The Big Break VII: Reunion.

A Certified Behavior, Motivation, Judgment and Emotional Intelligence Specialist, Miller is a member of the National Speakers Association, and delivers programs that inspire, educate and empower both individuals and corporations interested in improving overall performance. Her audiences consist of a wide range of companies in the financial sector, insurance, sales, athletic arena, technology, and manufacturing.

One of the premier golf instructors in America today, Miller is a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Fitness Professional, Certified TPI Junior Professional, U.S. Kids Golf Certified Instructor, as well as Golf Psych, and a Certified Mental Coach.

Miller has authored two books, “The Short Game” (written with her husband) and “Golf 101 for Executives,” her guide to help business executives learn the etiquette, rules and culture of the game. She and Allen have co-authored DISCGolf™, an online personal behavior report which teaches golfers how to best maximize their games according to their personality styles.
