It was an eventful weekend for KBS Golf Shafts, taking second place in both the 2016 Open Championship and the 2016 PGA Barbasol Championship.
The 2016 Open Championship, which is the third Major of the year, held at Royal Troon Golf Club in the UK. Royal Troon has hosted nine Open Championships and features some of the most difficult holes in Major championship golf. The final round will be looked at as one of the all-time great rounds in Major history with the runner up posting scores of 63,69,70, and a final round 65 narrowly coming up short. The second place winner of the 2016 Open Championship was using KBS Tour-V 125s in his irons and KBS Tour-V 125 X in his wedges.
The 2016 PGA Barbasol Championship took place at the Grand National Golf Course in Auburn, Alabama. Grand National boats three different courses; a 12-hole course along the shores of Lake Suagahatchee, an 18-hole short course, and another 18-hole par-four course. The young KBS second place winner shot a 63 and closed with a bogey. He plays a full set of KBS Tour-V 125s in both irons and wedges.
