Dean Snell’s ‘My Tour Ball’ Named GolfTalk Live August Product Of The Month

PHILADELPHIA, Pa (Aug. 1, 2016) – Snell Golf, bringing tour caliber golf balls to the amateur golfer at an affordable price, has been named Product of the Month on GolfTalk Live in August.

In 2015, Dean Snell decided to take the middleman out of golf ball sales. After spending 25 years in golf research and development – designing some of the industry’s finest balls such as the Titleist ProV1 and the entire line of TaylorMade balls, from the Burner to the Project (a) – he created Snell Golf.

“I have known and worked with Dean Snell for many years in the golf industry,” says Tony Leodora, host of the GolfTalk Live radio show. “He has always been one of the great innovators in the industry, so it comes as no surprise that his first solo product would be a ground-breaking one.”

Snell’s award-winning My Tour Ball (MTB) is a three-piece, urethane construction designed to increase distance, hold greens and provide Tour-level greenside performance to players of all skill levels. The three elements of a Snell Golf MTB ball are the core, mantle and cover. The soft, low-compression core decreases driver spin to increase distance off the tee. The mantle works directly with the core. On long shots the mantle keeps spin low to increase distance and increases spin on short shots for pinpoint accuracy. The cast urethane cover helps with short game control and provides soft feel on and around the greens. The USGA confirmed Snell Golf balls are legal for tournament play.

“GolfTalk Live is widely regarded as one of the country’s best golf radio shows and not many people know the industry and its products like Tony, so we are honored to add the accolade of “Product of the Month” to the My Tour Ball’s trophy case,” said Dean Snell, president and CEO of Snell Golf. “Philadelphia has some of the finest courses in the country so the golfers in the region have a reputation for being incredibly discerning when it comes to product quality. We look forward to working with Tony and his team to get the My Tour Ball in Philly-area golfers’ hands, as we are confident it stacks up to anything on the market.”

Snell’s MTB golf balls are sold in single and value packs. Single packs hold one dozen balls and value packs contain six-dozen. A single pack of My Tour ball retails at $31.99 (included shipping and delivery to your front door or office). The My Tour ball value pack retails at $157.99 (inclusive of delivery).

Snell Golf balls are sold at www.snellgolf.com.
