IRVINE, Calif. (August 1, 2016) – Using irons and wedges designed and manufactured by Fourteen Golf, the third-year pro from Korea finished in sole second place Sunday (July 31) at the Ricoh Women’s British Open.
The runner-up used Fourteen Golf TC 606 forged irons – 4-iron through pitching wedge – and RM-22 wedges – 50-degree, 54-degree and 58-degree lofts – to shoot scores of 62-71-69-73 for a 13-under par total of 275 at Woburn Golf & Country Club in England and earn $213,144. The RM-22 wedge recently was named to the 2016 Golf Digest Hot List.
Since she began using Fourteen Golf irons and wedges earlier this year she has five top 10 finishes. In other major championships, she finished T-4 at the Women’s PGA and T-11 at the Women’s U.S. Open. So far this season, she has amassed $701,434 in official earnings.
