Preferred greens fees at club’s acclaimed Ghost Creek Course, many extras
make it Oregon’s premier frequent player experience
(NORTH PLAINS, Ore.) – Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club’s Ghost Pass is currently on sale and offering preferred pricing and access to its Ghost Creek golf course.
For a one-time, annual payment of $149, Ghost Pass holders receive discounted greens fees, two complimentary rounds of golf, two-week advanced reservations privileges, one-hour early access to twilight rates, a custom bag tag, and invitations to Ghost Pass Tournament Series Events and Ghost Pass rewards program.
Passes tailored to seniors (55 and over) and juniors (ages 12-17) are available for $99. Ghost Passes may be purchased at the Ghost Creek golf shop or by visiting www.pumpkinridge.com/ghost-pass
“The Ghost Pass is an amazing opportunity for holders to see what makes Ghost Creek one of the region’s best public golf experiences,” says Lance Fong, General Manager at Pumpkin Ridge. “With agronomic and amenity enhancements underway, Ghost Creek is raising its already sterling reputation for playability, conditioning and customer service.”
Ghost Creek was recently ranked Portland’s favorite public course by readers of The Oregonian.
Meandering through wetlands punctuated by lush stands of trees, Ghost Creek features undulating fairways, immaculate greens, thought-provoking bunkering and its namesake stream. Past venue of NIKE TOUR and LPGA events, the list of players conquering Ghost Creek includes major champions David Duval and Suzann Pettersen.
No stranger to accolades, the par 71, 6,871-yard layout has been named one the U.S.’s Top 100 daily-fee courses for many years by Golf Digest and GOLF Magazine. Escalante Golf, which owns and operates a nationwide portfolio of 15 luxury golf properties, acquired a controlling interest in Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club’s Ghost Creek and Witch Hollow courses in October 2015.
Private Witch Hollow has hosted many prestigious championships. They include the 1996 U.S. Amateur won by Tiger Woods in a dramatic comeback over Steve Scott, as well as the 1997 and 2003 Women’s U.S. Opens. Set in the shadows of the scenic Tualatin Mountains, the 7,017-yard par 72 is well-defended by mature fir, maple, oak and ash trees.
Several membership platforms are available at Witch Hollow, including a non-resident option for those who maintain a primary residence outside a 150-mile radius from Pumpkin Ridge.
Other club calling cards are two 20,000 square-foot clubhouses, a 17-acre practice area, learning center, full-service restaurants and extensive banquet space. Less than 30 minutes from downtown Portland, a short distance to Portland International Airport (PDX) and Vancouver, Wash., and just over three hours from the Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue Metropolitan Area, Pumpkin Ridge is conveniently accessible to Pacific Northwest golfers.
