Aldila On Top At The Travelers Championship

August 9, 2016

The winner of the Travelers Championship used Aldila’s Tour Blue shafts in both his driver and 3 wood. Aldila also had more driver shafts in play during the Travelers Championship than any other manufacturer. To date, players using Aldila shafts have won 12 times during the 2016 Tour season. With results like these, there’s no surprise the Aldila continues to be the most popular driver shaft in play on Tour.

“The Aldila Tour Blue utilizes the latest materials and manufacturing technology to create a shaft designed to maximize the power of your individual golf swing,” said John Oldenburg, Aldila’s Vice President of Engineering and Product Development. “The constant taper shaft profile provides exceptional feel and a smooth, controlled release. The Tour Blue incorporates Aldila’s NexGen Micro Laminate Technology®. The ultra thin, ultra strong material allows for the construction of a shaft with outstanding performance and unparalleled consistency.

Aldila Tour Green, Blue and Red shafts are available through leading manufacturers and distributors worldwide. The Tour Green has a stiff tip section for a mid to low launch with low spin, while the Tour Blue has a medium-stiff tip section and slightly higher torque for a mid-high launch with moderate spin. The Tour Red shaft has a medium-soft tip section to promote a higher launch. Aldila Tour Series shafts are available with a suggested retail price of $299.
