Britain’s boxing legend Glenn McCrory will be supporting the GolfUNITED Charity Day in aid of the victims of the Pulse nightclub tragedy.
Competing at Grand Cypress Golf Club on Friday 26th August as part of the PlaneSWING Golf Team, Glenn has kindly taken time out from a family holiday to show his support.
Tony Clark, CEO of PlaneSWING commented “Glenn is big guy with a bigger heart. He’s no stranger to life’s challenges and didn’t hesitate when I asked him to support this worthy cause. I’m excited to have him as part of the PlaneSWING Team”.
British & Commonwealth Champion McCrory became IBF World Cruiserweight Champion on 3rd June 1989 when he defeated Patrick Lumumba. McCrory also fought Lennox Lewis for the World Heavyweight Title and sparred with Mike Tyson.
Today Glenn works with Sky TV (27 years) as their lead boxing expert and commentator travelling the world to report on the sport’s biggest fights.
PlaneSWING has also donated a PlaneSWING Golf Training System to the auction with Glenn McCrory kindly providing a signed copy of his acclaimed Autobiography “Carrying David”.
