Two Top 15’s on LPGA Tour for Volvik Staffers Chella Choi and Mi Hyang Lee
Volvik staff players were once again high up on the LPGA Tour leaderboard at the Canadian Women’s Pacific Open this weekend.
Volvik staff professional Chella Choi shot 65-71-69-70 to finish T7 with an Orange Volvik golf ball, her 4th Top 10 finish of the season, while Mi Hyang Lee shot 71-69-69-68 to finish T14th.
Choi currently ranks 24th on the official LPGA Tour money list with $432,546 earned in 2016 while Lee ranks 49th on the money list with $239,010 earned this year. Both players play an Orange S3 golf ball.
The LPGA Tour moves to the Manulife LPGA Classic in Ontario, Canada this week before embarking on an 8-event international swing that includes stops in France, China, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia and Mexico. The Race to the CME Globe comes to a conclusion Nov. 17-20 at the CME Group Tour Championship in Naples, FL.
Volvik Player Tim Petrovic Celebrates First Champions Tour event with T18 Finish
Volvik staffer Tim Petrovic celebrated his 50th birthday August 16th and used the new distinction to play in his first Champions Tour event at the Boeing Classic on August 26th. Petrovic finished T18th at the Washington state based event after shooting 73-68-69 at the event, earning his first Top 25 finish on the Champions Tour. Petrovic averaged 311 yards off the tee with his Yellow S3 golf ball. His family was in attendance to help him celebrate his 50th birthday and his first Champions Tour event. He plans to play in all remaining 2016 Champions Tour events.
