(DUNEDIN, FL) – Dunedin Stirling Links – managed by Billy Casper Golf (BCG) – has partnered with “The First Tee of Clearwater” youth development program that introduces the game and its inherent values to young people throughout the area.
A kick-off event begins at 9 a.m. on Saturday, September 17 with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony at Dunedin Stirling Links. Following the celebration, food, a raffle and free course access for the day and instruction will be available for all attendees.

The First Tee program is designed around teaching young people the game of golf, as well as helping them understand and ultimately develop The First Tee Nine Core Values, including honesty, integrity and sportsmanship. The curriculum was developed by experts in the field of positive youth development through sports and is delivered by caring adults (coaches) who are formally trained by The First Tee. Golf and life lessons are seamlessly incorporated into each experience.
The First Tee of Clearwater is one of three educational programs at the Chi Chi Rodriguez Youth Foundation in Clearwater. They were created to support the World Golf Hall of Famer’s vision of helping at-risk youth achieve academic and social success by remaining engaged in their education and acquiring the practical skills to excel at the “game of life.”
