Deal includes “The Grain” e-magazine, Golf Road Warriors

Seattle, WA (September 13, 2016) – Flagship Custom Publishing, specialists in golf and luxury lifestyle publications for clients throughout the United States and Mexico, has acquired the assets of Golf Media Network (GMN), including The Grain e-Magazine, the Golf Road Warriors program, and custom publishing interests.

Golf Media Network’s founding partner Jeff Wallach will assume a consulting role.

Flagship Custom Publishing currently produces more than 30 magazines per year. These include print and digital products for Troon Golf, including Troon Golf & Travel and Troon Privé Connect; FORE Magazine and plusFORE for the Southern California Golf Association; and in-room magazines for The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa, The Arizona Biltmore, and others. The company has also created commemorative books for Mauna Kea Beach Hotel, Waikoloa Beach Resort, and other clients.

George Fuller, president of Flagship Custom Publishing, said, “Golf Media Network is a natural fit for Flagship, and will expand our reach to golfers significantly. We have a team in place to take the excellent products that Jeff Wallach and his team have built and expand upon them. The distribution network GMN has established through partnerships with golf associations and other strategic alliances is a tremendous asset, and its reach is unmatched by any other single publication.”

The Grain is published seven times per year and distributed to 1.7 million readers. In addition to seasonal themes and regular departments, each issue will contain an editorial section called “Golf Road Warriors” (GRW) that will deliver insights into golf, accommodations, cuisine, and other attractions of destinations around the world. An affiliated aspect of GRW is “Golf Passport,” a 30-minute television show that is aired on long-haul international airlines and on www.go-golf.tv.

The first issue of The Grain under Flagship Custom Publishing’s ownership will be published January 21, 2017.
