BRENTWOOD, Tenn., October 3, 2016… PrideSports® is proud to announce the acquisition of SPL International, a Denver, Colorado based supplier of the RipStixx®, StepStixx®, TubeStixx® and other branded tee and accessory products. The acquisition was completed on Friday, September 30, 2016.
“We are very excited to continue the success that SPL International began over two decades ago,” said John Hohman, Vice President of Marketing, PrideSports. “Steve Lastofka and his team at SPL developed and grew the RipStixx®, StepStixx® and other golf tee products into an assortment that is recognized and desired throughout the U.S. We look forward to continuing their success and growing the business in the future.”
PrideSports® was formed in January 2003 following Pride Manufacturing Company’s purchase of Softspikes®, Inc., and its sister company Trisport, Ltd. of England. PrideSports® is owned bv Centre Partners, a middle market private equity firmed based in New York, NY.
