Alexandria, VA – October 3, 2016 – The Club Managers Association of America (CMAA) announces the opening of general registration for its 90th World Conference on Club Management and Club Business Expo. The 2017 event will take place in Orlando, FL, at the Orlando World Center Marriott from February 7-11.
CMAA’s World Conference is the largest gathering of club industry professionals, which is held in major cities throughout the United States. It offers interactive and competency-based education sessions and peer networking events as well the two-day Club Business Expo where attendees can preview the latest products and services available in the industry.
Most notably, this year’s event will include more than 80 education sessions addressing the complex challenges facing today’s club management professionals. Topics will include club governance, food & beverage management, accounting & financial management, human & professional resources, leadership, membership & marketing, golf, sports & recreation management, external & governmental influences, facilities management, and interpersonal skills.
Sessions are presented by industry experts, consultants and practitioners as well as leading business and brand professionals whose expertise easily translates to success in the club world. General Sessions will showcase peak performance coach, Dan Thurmon; Cameron Herold, known around the world as the Business Growth Guru; entrepreneur, Sheila Johnson; and explorer and endurance athlete, Ben Saunders.
