WIXOM, Mich. – The Ryder Cup featured 4 different players using SuperStroke grips last week including Jordan Spieth and Sergio Garcia. Spieth continued his hot putting with a Flatso 1.0 while Garcia’s putter sported a Legacy 1.0 grip. Each player utilized SuperStroke’s S-Tech club grips. Other Team USA members used Pistol GT 1.0 and Legacy 3.0 putter grips.
Sergio Garcia’s Sunday singles match was one of historic proportions. Garcia played beautifully to the tune of 9 birdies in the match, including birdies on each of the final 4 holes. He was only bested by his playing competitor who rolled in 10 birdies of his own while using a SuperStroke Legacy 3.0 grip. The match was halved but the two SuperStroke users combined for 19 total birdies and a best ball score of 58, 14-under par. Overall for the week SuperStroke grips were used in nearly half the match played at the Ryder Cup.
This week marks the final event of the Web.com Tour Finals. Twenty five more players will earn their PGA Tour cards this Sunday evening at the Web.com Tour Championship. Look for multiple SuperStroke users to capture their card at Atlantic Beach Country Club.
SuperStroke’s new S-Tech club grips have a soft, tacky feel from premium rubber compound that deliver excellent feedback and control. The Cross-Traction surface texture provides an incredible non-slip surface in all weather conditions, which enhances control and performance. SuperStroke Staff Players Jordan Spieth, Sergio Garcia, Jason Dufner, and Victor Dubuisson trust S-Tech club grips in every competition.
SuperStroke’s TX1 Premium Club Grips feature a Half Cord Design. TX1 Premium club grips offer a soft, tacky cord for increased club control on the upper hand and soft, non-cord rubber for enhanced feel and feedback on the lower hand. Every SuperStroke grip features Cross-Traction pattern, improving grip over the entire surface.
SuperStroke has incorporated CounterCore technology in all new putter grips for 2016. CounterCore Technology lets golfers fine tune the feel and stability of the putter by adjusting the weight of the grip. Adding a 50g back-weight engages larger muscles in the arms, shoulders and back, which results in more of a pendulum motion. Plus, SuperStroke’s patented NO TAPER design promotes even grip pressure, which leads to better putting. It can also be played without the additional weight if you prefer.
SuperStroke (superstrokeusa.com) is a tour led grip innovation company that has set the standard in putter grip technologies with its patented parallel technology and counter core weighting. The company’s club grip business is growing quickly and has already been adopted by some of the best players in the world. SuperStroke’s pursuit of innovation is a promise of dedication to help lower scores for golfers at every level.
