Myrtle Beach’s Man-O-War, Wizard courses in excellent condition, ready for play

(MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.) – Mystical Golf – featuring Myrtle Beach’s best “golf buddy” stay-and-play packages – announces its acclaimed Man-O-War and Wizard courses are completely operational and open for play following Hurricane Matthew.

Long known for superior maintenance and playing conditions, the two Dan Maples-designed layouts are in excellent shape with no damage.

Man-O-War was recently ranked in the “Top 15 Courses in South Carolina” in Golf Channel’s Golf Advisor rater reviews. Its 15th hole ranks among GOLF Magazine’s “Five Most Memorable Island Greens” alongside No. 17 at TPC Sawgrass, the “Alcatraz” hole at PGA West’s Stadium Course and Coeur d’Alene Resort’s movable, floating putting surface. The Wizard has earned an exceptional 4-1/2 stars from Golf Digest.

“The Wizard and Man-O-War couldn’t have survived the storm better,” says Claude Pardue, President and CEO. “Plus we have the best maintenance team in the business and golfers have been having a blast teeing it up here since Monday.”

Mystical Golf’s reputation as one of the premier U.S. golf destinations continues to grow year after year. GOLF Magazine calls it the “best value” in Myrtle Beach. “One of the best deals in the country,” says Golf Channel.com. Golf Vacations Magazine calls Mystical Golf “the best deal in golf travel.”

An ideal way to enjoy Mystical Golf is its excellent three-day Gold Package. Available through Nov. 29, the stay-and-play starts at $99 (per person, per day, taxes included) and features three rounds with cart (plus one complimentary round), three nights’ lodging in well-appointed three-bedroom golf villas (four beds), free iHOP breakfast daily (available 24 hours per day), and a gratis steak dinner at Logan’s Roadhouse (includes non-alcoholic beverages, taxes).

Additional package extras include two free beers and lunch at the course each day, complimentary daily range balls, instant replay round for cart fee only, and $15 gift card toward a golf shirt. Extra night stays are available at a moderate cost per person.

Offered during the same time frame, the Silver Package starts at $89 (per person, per day, taxes included) and features all the aspects of the Gold Package except the complimentary round, daily breakfast and steak dinner. Both stay-and-plays offer one complimentary golfer for booked groups of 20 or more players.
