Professional golfers playing Volvik color golf balls earned two Top 5 finishes and a total of three Top 15 finishes this week on the LPGA and KLPGA tours.
Two Volvik staff players finished in the Top 15 on the LPGA Tour Sunday, including a Top 5 finish, at the Blue Bay LPGA Tour event held in China.
Pornanong Phatlum finished tied for 4th at the third-annual LPGA Tour event playing a Pink Volvik S3 golf ball and Chella Choi finished tied for 14th with her signature Orange S3 golf ball.
Phatlum earned $97,513 for her 4th place finish and now sits 28th on the official LPGA Tour money list with $541,987 earned. It was the 4th Top 5 finish for Phatlum on the 2016 LPGA Tour.
For the ultra-consistent 29th ranked Choi, the finish was her 12th Top 25 finish of the season. Volvik staff players have earned eight Top 5 finishes, 11 Top 10 finishes and 20 Top 25 finishes this season on the LPGA Tour.
Phatlum ranks 6th and Choi ranks 10th in driving accuracy on the 2016 LPGA Tour, a trait that the S3 golf ball has become well known for.

Lee finished at 15 under par after shooting three straight rounds of 67 in the first three rounds of the event to lead her to finish 4th. The KLPGA now includes 36 official events and is rated as one of the top 5 women’s professional tours in the world.
