(HILTON HEAD, S.C.) – The Sea Pines Resort – Hilton Head’s most celebrated golf and leisure retreat – announces its famed Harbour Town Golf Links will reopen November 9.
Following the clean-up from Hurricane Matthew, the resort’s new Atlantic Dunes by Davis Love III course opened on Oct. 31 and its Heron Point by Pete Dye layout started welcoming play on Nov. 2. The 2017 RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing will be hosted on Harbour Town from April 10 – 16 as planned. South Carolina’s only PGA TOUR event, the tournament is scheduled to be played at Harbour Town through 2023.
“We’re thrilled Harbour Town made it through the storm so well and is ready for play,” says Cary Corbitt, Vice President of Sports and Operations. “Our hats go off to our amazing maintenance team for getting our world-class golf courses back in exceptional condition for our members, property owners and resort guests.”
All of the resort’s operations including The Inn & Club at Harbour Town, Harbour Town Clubhouse, Plantation Golf Club and Sea Pines Beach Club have been open for several weeks. Links, an American Grill at the Harbour Town Clubhouse, The Plantation Club’s “Live Oak” bar and grill featuring Lowcountry cuisine and Coast, oceanfront dining at the Beach Club, have all retuned to business as usual and are welcoming guests.
Additionally, all of The Sea Pines Resort’s 400 rental homes and villas were available shortly after the storm passed through and are vacation ready.
