(Jacksonville, FL) – A growing number of Professionals on the PGA, LPGA and Champions Tour are choosing to put a Cure Putter into play each week. This past weekend, Samuel Del Val captured his 1st victory on the PGA TOUR Latinoamerica at the Argentina Classic presented by NEC.
Samuel Del Val birdied 17 and then rolled in a par saving 18 footer with his Cure RX3 putter to clinch his first victory in four seasons on the Tour. Del Val, who posted rounds of 69-66-68, secured the title with a score of 13-under 203. Del Val moved up to #4 on the money list and is in a good position to gain full exemption on the Web.com Tour for next season.
“This is a long-awaited victory. I’ve been seeking this win for four years and it’s finally here,” said the champion who had had two runner-up finishes in 58 previous starts thru four seasons in Latin America. Del Val became the first European champion on PGA TOUR Latinoamérica while being one of the most consistent players this season with seven Top10’s in 16 starts.
“I had been working very hard for a result like this. I knew the win was there, but we know how hard this Tour is getting every year. The competition is getting so much stronger, so winning is really hard. I had been close a few times and I wasn’t able to win until this week and now things are looking a lot better.”
