Minneapolis, MN: Quick.golf, the game’s only app that lets both golfers and golf course operators enjoy an alternate way to play and pay, unveils a new promo code function along with integration to the Gallus Golf app.
“Good software is never completed. We’ve taken feedback from our original beta clients and added two new features quickly,” says Quick.golf co-founder Harvey Silverman. “Our solid platform and web app (instead of a native app) enable us to move quickly from concept to reality. Such is the case with our new promo code function. It took us less than three weeks to design, program, test, and implement.”
The Quick.golf promo-code function lets course operators easily create different rates for different reasons by designating a percentage of their standard per-hole rate. Course managers can add codes that generate rates lower or higher than the standard rate (that’s right – higher). For instance, maybe they want a member rate that’s lower than the public rate. Or, maybe they want a higher rate for golfers who want to ride a Golfboard, or some other value-added amenity. These can now be set quickly without changing the published “rack” per-hole rate. The function also includes a date-setting component so that courses can promote a special rate with a designated start and end date. It is all controlled easily and securely from the course Quick.golf dashboard.
“”The best ideas for improving Quick.golf come from the people who use it every day,” says Quick.golf co-founder and chief architect Mike Dickoff. “We’re always actively listening to our clients for high-value enhancement ideas. CourseCo VP of Sales and Marketing Lance Merrihew got the ball rolling on the promo code concept, and we supplemented his idea with feedback from other users. We prioritize, like all software companies, but promo-codes was a no-brainer as it will enable our clients to generate incremental revenue when used aggressively or selectively.”
Quick.golf has also partnered with Gallus Golf, the No. 1 course-customized app in the industry, to link Quick.golf directly to a course’s Gallus app home screen. The link enables Gallus course customers to see Quick.golf availability with just one click. “Gallus made the linking integration very easy for us,” says Silverman. “They know that Quick.golf can add a new revenue-producing alternative for their course clients, and we both see the future of golf in today’s mobile technology.”
