Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. – Shelly Pereira of Gloucester, VA has been elected to the board of directors for the Executive Women’s Golf Association (EWGA). Celebrating its 25th Anniversary in 2016, EWGA is the largest women-focused national amateur golf association in the United States with chapters located in more than 100 cities as well as international chapters in Bermuda, Canada and Italy.
Pereira is the president and founder of Verance Consulting LLC, a sales and personal growth transformation company, with core services including fractional sales management, sales coaching and sales training. She is a Certified Coach, an Accredited Small Business Consultant, a Licensed and Certified B.A.N.K.™Sales Trainer, and a Certified Hatchbuck Partner. A graduate of Marshall University, Pereira is a past president of the EWGA Richmond, VA Chapter and also served on the board of River City Express Network, part of the American Business Women’s Association.
Susan Stinson, managing director, UBS Financial Services, Inc, Philadelphia, PA has been named President-Elect, with Michelle Huber, director of marketing, Fuzzy Zoeller’s Covered Bridge and Champions Pointe Golf Clubs, Louisville, KY as Secretary and Emily Phillips, financial advisor, Robert W. Baird Private Wealth Management, Milwaukee, WI as Treasurer joining president Hilary Tuohy, founding partner, 2e Ventures LLC, Harrison, NY as the 2017 board officers.
The EWGA Association Board of Directors sets the strategic direction for the organization.

The EWGA is THE Golf Community for Women, locally connected and nationally respected. A recent survey conducted by the PGA of America found that EWGA members are avid golfers and annually generate over $63 million in golf-related spending for the golf industry.
