(BOERNE, Texas) – Cordillera Ranch – the premier luxury community in the scenic Texas Hill Country – announces construction has begun on a new Outfitter Center that will house its River Club and additional outdoor programs and activities.
The new Outfitter Center – set to be completed in early 2017 – will be located near the center of the 8,700-acre community, the burgeoning Springs of Cordillera Ranch neighborhood and the Guadalupe River. The facility will house the club’s river and fishing equipment, and provide a pro shop fully stocked with fishing, kayaking and outdoor equipment.
Cordillera Ranch staff members will coordinate and conduct guided fishing and river excursions from the Outfitter Center. Residents and members who own their own river equipment can utilize the club shuttle service for river and fishing trips, providing them full river access. The Outfitter Center will also offer kayak, fishing and other outdoor activity sales and repair.
“The continued rapid growth of our community and our members’ passions for the sporting lifestyle fueled construction of the new Outfitter Center,” says Charlie Hill, President and Chief Operating Officer for DH Investments, developer of Cordillera Ranch. “Very few clubs and communities embrace the active outdoor lifestyle like Cordillera Ranch.”
The River Club is one of seven resort-style clubs at Cordillera Ranch. The other six clubs consist of The Social Club, The Tennis and Swim Club, The Equestrian Club, The Rod and Gun Club, The Spa and Athletic Club and The Golf Club. Perched high atop one of the many breathtaking hills found in the community, the 40,000 square-foot clubhouse is the social heart of the property, and features member dining facilities, a full fitness center, in-house spa, locker rooms, special event rooms, wine cellar, member lounge, four outdoor pools and golf shop.
Considered one of the most idyllic and desirable Hill Country addresses, Cordillera Ranch recently made available coveted golf course frontage and hill top properties. In 2017, its newest neighborhood – The Springs of Cordillera Ranch, will introduce the area to the newest concepts in Hill Country living. Community honors continue to roll in as well, as Where to Retire Magazine named Cordillera Ranch one of the “50 Best Master-Planned Communities in the U.S.,” and San Antonio Magazine tabbed it one of the best neighborhoods in the area.
