(PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla.) – PGA Golf Club announces that golfers who contribute three non-perishable food items to its winter promotion benefitting the Treasure Coast Food Bank will receive 15% off standard rates.
From now through Dec. 31, golfers can call to book tee times or reserve online using the promo code “HOLIDAY.” Three non-perishable food items must be presented at check in to receive the discount. The offer cannot be combined with previously discounted green fees.
“The holidays are a time to give back to family, friends and those in need,” says PGA Senior General Manager Jimmy Terry. “This promotion not only rewards our loyal guests’ and golfers’ generosity, but it benefits an amazing organization that has been helping feed the hungry for the past 27 years.”
Founded in 1989, the Treasure Coast Food Bank strives to alleviate hunger in the Indian River, Martin, St. Lucie and Okeechobee counties by obtaining and distributing food and other essentials. It provides roughly 400 pantries, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, senior housing and low-income day-care centers with donated food on a daily basis. The organization also works with area schools to supply food-filled backpacks to hundreds of children for the weekend.
