WIXOM, Mich. – SuperStroke grips captured wins at the Australian PGA Championship, Alfred Dunhill Championship, and PGA Tour Champions Qualifying Tournament last week.
The winner of the Australian PGA Championship was the 2nd American in history and the first since 1978 to capture the Championship. He utilized a SuperStroke Flatso 2.0 while shooting 19-under par for the event and a 2-stroke victory. SuperStroke grips were also used by the 3rd place finisher while shooting 15-under par for the event with his Slim 3.0 putter grip. The European Tour also hosted the Alfred Dunhill Championships last week as well.
The winner of the Alfred Dunhill Championships utilized a SuperStroke Mid Slim 2.0 grip in-route to a 7 shot victory and his second European Tour victory. He fired a final round 67 to finish 22-under par for the Championship.
SuperStroke grips also captured an important victory on the PGA Tour Champions as well, securing the top spot at Qualifying School.
Jordan Spieth competed for the first time since capturing the Australian Open last month. Spieth finished in 6th place at the Hero World Challenge while using a full bag of SuperStroke grips. Spieth’s setup includes a Flatso 1.0 putter grip and S-Tech club grips on his woods, fairways, irons, and wedges.
This week the PGA Tour hosts the Franklin Templeton Shootout where reigning champion Jason Dufner will tee it up with a full bag of SuperStroke grips while looking to defend his title. Meanwhile, the European Tour will head to Hong Kong for the UBS Hong Kong Open.
SuperStroke’s new S-Tech club grips have a soft, tacky feel from premium rubber compound that deliver excellent feedback and control. The Cross-Traction surface texture provides an incredible non-slip surface in all weather conditions, which enhances control and performance. SuperStroke Staff Players Jordan Spieth, Sergio Garcia, Jason Dufner, and Victor Dubuisson trust S-Tech club grips in every competition.
SuperStroke has incorporated CounterCore technology in all new putter grips for 2016. CounterCore Technology lets golfers fine tune the feel and stability of the putter by adjusting the weight of the grip. Adding a 50g back-weight engages larger muscles in the arms, shoulders and back, which results in more of a pendulum motion. Plus, SuperStroke’s patented NO TAPER design promotes even grip pressure, which leads to better putting. It can also be played without the additional weight if you prefer.
SuperStroke (superstrokeusa.com) is a tour led grip innovation company that has set the standard in putter grip technologies with its patented parallel technology and counter core weighting. The company’s club grip business is growing quickly and has already been adopted by some of the best players in the world.
