(Jacksonville, FL) – A growing number of Professionals on the PGA, LPGA and Champions Tour are choosing to put a Cure Putter into play each week. Cure Putters success on the professional golf tours continued this past weekend in Daytona Beach, Florida.
Using a Cure RX5 Putter, Jaye Marie Green buried a 20 foot birdie putt on the 90th and final hole to win the LPGA Tour Qualifying Tournament on Sunday. Green became the first player to win the event twice since it moved to Daytona Beach in 1991. In 2013, she won with a record score of 29 under. Green finished at 13-under and captured a one stroke victory at LPGA International. This win at Q-School earns her a full exemption on the LPGA Tour for 2017.
“I feel really good about it, and the bye weeks leading up I wasn’t really that nervous, which is weird,” Green said. “I was really laid back this week, and I felt like I was picking up where I left off from three years ago.”
“We’d like to congratulate Jaye on her win this past week. She’s an incredibly talented player and we’re extremely proud and honored to have her rolling a Cure putter,” said Jim McCarthy, CEO of Cure Putters. “We look forward to following her success on the LPGA Tour in 2017 and wish her all the best.”
