Starting Dec. 21, the seasonal fun offers something for the entire family including David Leadbetter golf clinics, trunk shows at the spa, Pickleball round robin tournament, cookie decorating, pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and more. Activities are complimentary for resort guests and room rates start at $255 per night based on availability.
A Christmas day buffet prepared by the culinary experts of the acclaimed Ironwood Steak & Seafood restaurant is available from 1 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Guests can enjoy savory entrees like hickory smoked leg of lamb and herb roasted prime rib, sides of stuffing and Yorkshire pudding, and deserts including pecan pie and candied apples. Price per guest is $79 for adults and $30 for children (ages six to 12).
The Ironwood Steak & Seafood will also host a New Year’s Eve Dinner on Dec. 31. Beginning at 5 p.m., the chef-inspired menu will feature Florida stone crab claws, grilled bone-in veal chops, dark chocolate brownie sundaes and more. Attendees are encouraged to linger longer as DJ Entertainment and a midnight balloon drop at iBar will ring in the New Year in style. Price per guest starts at $95 for early seating; advanced reservations are recommended.
For guests planning private parties or catered events during the holiday season, two new cocktails inspired by the resort’s master mixologists will be available to serve as signature drinks with a seasonal twist. The PGA Rum Harvest features a blend of ground cinnamon, nutmeg, Kahlua, white rum and Baileys while the PGA Whiskey Apple Pie is the perfect complement of cider, lemonade, vanilla vodka and Fireball.
A variety of replenishing holiday-themed treatments are available at the 40,000 square-foot spa, even on Christmas day. Guests can de-stress with the Holiday Spirit Facial using pomegranate polish and a cranberry and grapefruit infused hydrating mask, or treat their feet with a Gingerbread Sugar Pedicure.
