OAK BROOK TERRACE, IL (January 9, 2017) – The Zero Friction DistancePro™ Golf Glove is one of three finalists in the Product Ingenuity-Misc. Products category of the 24th Annual ING Industry Honors awards program.

The ING Industry Honors program is conducted by the non-profit International Network of Golf, the industry’s only media-based networking organization. ING is “where the media connects with the golf industry.”

The ING Industry Honors program recognizes outstanding business achievement in a dozen categories, from product ingenuity to player development to advertising. Nominations are accepted form anyone in the industry. Sub-committees in each category reviewed nominations, and by private vote trimmed the entries to the top three in each category. ING members then vote to determine the winners.

Nominees will be recognized and winners announced on January 26 at 12:30 pm in Room 309 A/B at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Fla.

The Zero Friction DistancePro GPS Glove is the ultimate in accuracy and convenience. Powered by Bluetooth, the device sits conveniently on the glove flap and weighs less than half an ounce. The readout gives distances to the front, center and back of the green on over 35,000 golf courses programmed worldwide. The DistancePro GPS battery provides over 400 hours of golf, and the GPS device is transferrable to replacement Zero Friction gloves.

Hall of Fame golfer and NBC commentator Johnny Miller is part owner of Zero Friction.
