MOUNT DORA, Fla. – Golf Marketing Services, a full-service branding, digital marketing, web design and business development firm, has named Joe Genovesi as Creative Director.
As a two-time Multichannel Merchant Award winner, Genovesi specializes in visual, digital, direct response and e-commerce marketing. A graduate of the acclaimed Miami Ad School, Genovesi consults as the Director of Commercial Photography at Highforge, an award-winning digital marketing and web design agency based in Orlando, Fla. Genovesi was also e-commerce Creative Director for CenturyNovelty.com where he and his team took the struggling start-up party supply business and developed it into a multi-million dollar brand in five years.

Genovesi has worked directly on creative projects for big brands such as adidas and Merrell and will be expanding Golf Marketing Services’ creative efforts further into apparel and soft good branding, including digital design, volume product photography and fashion photography. In addition, Genovesi will bring his knowledge and expertise in direct response consumer marketing, having worked extensively with marketing and distribution company Global DR Group.
Golf Marketing Services has been a leader and change agent in the digital space since the advent of the internet.
Most notably, Golf Marketing Services successfully launched and developed iGolf, the first comprehensive golf website and digital golf community in 1994, a joint-venture between America Online and InterZine Productions, Inc., a leading sports content, media and marketing company. iGolf was later acquired by Times Mirror Magazines, parent company of Golf Magazine.
