KISSIMMEE, Florida (January 10, 2017) – Integrity Golf Company (www.integritygolfco.com), a golf-course management company dedicated to sound business practices and exceptional customer service, will be a major sponsor of the 2017 Diamond Resorts Invitational, to benefit Florida Hospital for Children. The competition, to be telecast live on Golf Channel, will take place Jan. 13-15 at the Tranquilo Golf Club at Four Seasons Resort Orlando, in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. This is the second year that Integrity Golf Company has served as a sponsor for this charitable event.

The tournament will feature well-known golf professionals as well as sports and entertainment stars, such as Ray Allen, Josh Beckett, Roger Clemens, John Daly, Denny Hamlin, Reggie Jackson, Larry the Cable Guy and Mardy Fish, winner of last year’s Diamond Resorts Invitational. Twenty-seven PGA Tour Champions players, three LPGA players and 50 celebrities from the sports and entertainment industry will gather to compete side by side for purses totaling $1.25 million. The PGA Tour Champions players will compete for $750,000 over the 54-hole tournament; the celebrities will play for a $500,000 purse. A Modified Stableford scoring format will be used, awarding points as opposed to strokes – encouraging players to make the most of out every hole and creating a heightened sense of fan anticipation.
Proceeds from the event’s live and silent auctions will directly benefit Florida Hospital for Children, one of the nation’s premier children’s hospitals, which sets standards for innovation, quality and comprehensive care. The child-centric healing environment designed to keep its young patients comfortable is complemented by a staff of world-class doctors, specialists, nurses and healthcare professionals using advanced technologies, therapies and treatments.
