For Fall 2017, Oxford offers a sophisticated, yet casual collection of cotton and performance sport shirts that possess a unique feel unlike any others on the market. These stylish wovens work as hard as the man wearing them, but transition from the boardroom to a casual night on the town with ease. Luxurious cotton shirts in button down and spread collar styles are available in a variety of checks and plaids. Oxford’s performance sport shirts are made from an exclusive blend of nylon and spandex, a soft proprietary fabric that is cool to the touch, quick drying, breathable and wrinkle resistant.
Oxford’s Dri-Release polos have long been a popular choice amongst golfers ? and now the brand is bringing them to the lifestyle market. The exclusive blend of cotton and Dri-Release polyester dries four times faster than cotton, controls odors, wicks moisture and has the soft feel of cotton. The Mabry COOLMAX® Polo gives the iconic chest pocket polo a contemporary update with a small button-down collar, tailored sleeves and a more modern pocket design; while the Brighton Dri-Release Polo brings an infusion of colors to a traditional striped style. Other polos in the collection are fabricated from COOLMAX®, another high-performance fabric that has superior moisture management qualities and a UPF50+ rating for maximum sun protection.
Oxford showcases its sartorial strength with a collection of refined knitwear and outerwear pieces for the time of year when layering pieces take center stage. The range of sweaters uses technical fibers mixed with natural cotton and Merino wool for an optimal blend of performance and comfort. COOLMAX® fibers are fused with Merino in the Forest Wool Cardigan to deliver warmth in cool conditions and breathability and moisture management on warmer days. Another key piece in the collection, the Ponce Shawl Collar Pullover, is fabricated from a mix of French terry and Spandex.
Crewneck, V-neck, quarter-zip and button-placket styles complete the offering of easy to wear sweaters with technical features and high fashion appeal. When an extra layer is needed, the sporty Ottley Quilted vest and Linden Quilted pullover provide versatility and work in harmony with the other pieces in the collection.
Rounding out Oxford’s collection are three types of well-appointed trousers. The Highland Chino, a flat front pant in cotton stretch and the Baker, a five pocket style, both finished with an enzyme wash for a soft, luxurious feel. The updated classic fit offers a modern silhouette that is sure to appeal to a wide range of body types and style preferences. The Windsor Performance Pant features a four-way polyester/Spandex stretch fabric designed to effortlessly move throughout the day. The gripper waistband even stretches to provide an extra layer of comfort, for golf or every day wear.
To complement the apparel in the Fall 2017 Collection is a line of driving shoes and loafers that will complete any outfit in style. Made from a soft and supple leather, these shoes can easily be dressed up or down for nearly any occasion. Joining these classic designs is a more casual chukka that can be paired with laidback ensembles.
Oxford’s palette of rich and sophisticated colors are perfect for the season. The dusty blues, greens and neutral tones set a masculine attitude for the collection, while an infusion of brighter colors like boysenberry, coral and autumn blaze deliver lively pops of personality. This well-balanced cocktail of classic and contemporary hues creates an extremely wearable palette that well dressed gentlemen will be rushing to add to their wardrobes.
